Robert W. Morrison (son) and Maria Harriet (wife) telling their own story

This is my grandfather and my great-grandmother, the widow of John G. Morrison giving their perspective on the news articles written around the time of the murder

How this story was started

Around ten or fifteen years ago I was at my parents house for a celebration of my parents 50th wedding anniversary. My dad's brother, Uncle Roger and his wife Aunt Kay were there enjoying the evening with us. Uncle Roger had with him two audio CDs that he wanted me to listen to. I'll never forget the look in his eyes as he gave it to me. There was a deep yearning that the story on these CDs would not be lost. I took them and listened to them again and again. This was where I started the connection to my family story.
